Hi,

I have just been given a 15" ladies Specialized Hardrock Sport, and I want to use it as an everyday bike for running to the shops and that sort of thing (I already have a Trek Fuel EX 9 that I use for mountain biking)

I would like to put a rear rack on it so I can put my shopping in it but I don't know anything about racks, and was wondering if anyone knew of one that would fit my bike which would be decent.

Thanks for reading,

Julie

I have a rack that is designed for bikes with disc brakes - its brand new - I have never used it - let me know if you are intersted.

I use one of these on my hardrock, fits perfectly and its light and sturdy. Doesn't worth with disc btw incase you're ever going to switch it to another bike.

Yep, just screw in the bottom two bolts line up the top arm then tighten them. Took about 5 minutes. The rack didn't come with any screws btw. If the screws aren't already in your frame you will need to buy a set. I just went down to my lbs and he knew just what size I needed, only cost €1.
