whats the point in dj1?

they are only 200g lighter than dirt jumper 3 yet almost 200 bucks more... im confused.

    but you dont need to faff around with that stuff. my dj'3 been running as new for 4 years in all riding, mostly jumping and street (forget scratches)

    actually the DJ 1 is 2612g and the DJ 3 is 3144g

    Oh and then there is the 20mm axel on the 1.

  • personally, i dont have a clue what damping either have (not remotely into dirt Jumping) but if they are different the chances are that the 1's are more plush. Also, you may not need the ajustability, but some people need to make the most out of their forks, and they have more chance of doing that if they have the Options :wink:

    fair enough, but why aren't those weights shown in most spec's? i

    just ride, [rant] i think we're relying on technology too much to take the 'sting' out of the ride, adjustability n all that shizz, the ride is all about the sting

    Need to add the steerer weights (see bottom). DJ1 has alloy steerer and DJ 3 steel.
