Hello,

I have a pair of Hope Mono Minis which I believe are 2004? They have the yellow caliper.

I need to get the front brake bled but am not sure if the standard kit from CRC or the other websites is the right one:

Will this one work? This one looks like it uses the tyre pressure to put the oil in which seems a littleout of my depth. Do Hope not have the syringe bleed kits?

You can make your own bleed kit for a few quid, not the extortionate amount you can buy them for.

You will need a length of windscreen washer tubing, available from your local car parts shop (LCPS).

The correct Dot fluid, again from your LCPS

A bottle to catch the old fluid in.

    Zip ties.

Attach the hose to the bleed nipple.

Zip tie bottle to fork/chainstay depending on which brake you're bleeding.

    Place hose in bottle.

Then follow the instructions in the manual, section 3.3.
