I habe a 13 year old vintage Orange Prestige (Pre P7 steel) Mountain bike with rigid forks which I am starting to use again for mountain biking including trailquest. What tyres would anyone suggest? I was thinking of Panracer Fire XC Pro 2.1 or should I go for something a bit wider to give me some more tyre suspension. I would need them for all year round use mainly around the Yorkshire Moors.

1.75 Schwalbe Marathon XR. I know these are touring tyres but they are just about better than nothing. Got me round a Mountain Marathon  Quite often sideways hence the post :(

you should put 2.1 on anything over will probs be to big. how much is your budget.
have a look on chainreactioncycles and wiggle they both are quite cheap for tyres.
also if you have a look on ebay there is a shop selling kenda nevegal tyres for £20 a pair and i think they do 2.1, i have the 2.35 on my bike and they are very very good..

Budget is about £60 for the pair. What Kenda Nevegal model would you go for as it seems Kenda have lots of different DH and XC models is it the Lite version I should go for :?:
