Specialized S Works Tricross, opinions please

I've got a nice crack in my Uncle John cross frame so need to replace. Was set to buy a Ridley crosswind for £700 f&f but have been offered a spesh s work tricross for £450 (not the new carbon one).

Any comments ? can't find much info on the spesh at to weight etc. Anything else to consider in the available budget ?
