Along the lines of the "girls in lycra shorts" thread, how about some of your favourite cycling art

Include some of your own if you wish

Here's some of mine (Campag haters look away now)

Sorry, O/T but, you don't by any chance know if anyone sells this old advert as a metal sign or poster? Where did you find the original image?

    You could try;

    http://www.robertopiecollection.com/

The Opie Collection has loads of old ads like this one, a good many of which can now be bought as metal signs, posters, coasters, fridge magnets, mouse mats, etc. Hope this is of help to you.

    Ken,
Very nice. I presume this comes from a photo. How is it done?
    Cheers,

    Hi Rich

I must say I've enjoyed your Etape Blogspot during the year

The image is indeed from a photograph. I have an ordinary digicam. In it you can play with the images in a limited way-of which this is one

It's an ordinary HP Photosmart R727, which I bought as the local Jessops was having a sale, and were more or less giving it away. I found the features after I bought it

My girlfriend did this 'advert' on Photoshop for a photography course she was doing. Had to take a picture of the saddle, cut it out, then generate various layers with the background and text on.

Ver' nice. I thought those saddles were the benchmark in comfort....and look really good too. Have I got it the wrong way round?

For the majority of people (myself included), they are very comfortable. I think the point she was making is that it looks sooooo good that you wouldn't even contemplate whether it is comfortable when buying it.

    Thanks Jashburnam

It'd take courage to ride the first pair, wouldn't it (unless you were very good/confident)

I really like the second pair

Yeah the second pair look great don't they, why not vote for them - they may i believe the winning design will be "rolled out" by Campy and I'd love a pair!
