As much as I love my Dinotte lights (and trust me I really do love them ) I've got an irritating problem with them and I was curious as to anyone else has had the same thing?

The problem is simple, as I ride along the batteries somehow manage to slip out of the battery holder so suddenly the lights lose power and I'm unilluminated. Has anyone else had this and, if so, what was your solution?

I'm thinking a couple of well placed elastic bands may be the answer.

Yep, elastic bands solved it for me!

I er melted my battery holder when I put one battery in the wrong way....
Maplin sell spares for about 50p. They hold it secure. But rubber bands are cheaper !

Whilst I admire your thrift young Cougie, I do think being thrifty for 50p is a bit much.

There is a Maplins locally so I'll pop it and the weekend and buy some.

Well I didnt have much choice in my case - the melting incident had kind of rendered the holder unusable.
