I know Race Face have a reasonable reputation when it comes to mountain bikes etc. but has anyone had any experience with any of their road components? I was looking into purchasing a new stem and handlebars and was suprised to see Race Face crossing over into the road market (allbeit with a fairly limited range of products). Anyway, are these any good or does anyone have any better/cheaper suggestions?
As a side note... can anyone shed any light as to what is so fantastic about carbon fibre stems that people are willing to shell out £150+(!) for them, other than the few grams weight saving?
