cycle trip

Hi there
me and my mate are trying to get away for a road cycling trip for a couple of days in the first week of November.
would anyone know about good ,affordable destinations for this time of year????

    Depends where you currently live and what you are looking for :D

    Few years back, about the same time of year, the missus and myself caught the ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe and spent a few happy days cycling around Normandy with a tent. If it is cheap you are after, it fits the bill (£35 for the ferry crossing). The roads are excellent and the drivers generally considerate. If you are looking for monster hills or blazing sunshine, head elsewhere.
