Lock cable - replacement?

Having for the third time managed to lose the cable that pairs with my D-lock (stored under the pannier flap, but not secured enough) it's time to shop for a replacement.
Any recommendations for a cable with 2 loops to pair with an existing D-lock, mainly used to keep the front wheel on the bike and in an emergency if a Sheffield stand et al isn't readily to hand.
So needs to be strongish (but without rattling any Almax cages) - prob only 2 metres long, BUT have some snazzy way of securing it to the bike so I don't keep losing the pesky thing! I remember someone once posted details of a thinish yet strong cable that retracted into a reel - can't find it now of course!
TIA - Rufus.

Wasn't quite the one I'd half remembered but looks like the one you linked to will suit the purpose fine!
The one I'd half remembered was a Kryptonite Kryptogrip:

However this doesn't appear to be available in the UK, so its Abus it is!
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction - off to queue at Waterloo Evans!
