the ufo i had it looked over by a lbs and they said the frame as if it has never been used.

And you are sure its a 170mm fork it takes? I dont think thats right.

Anyway, I think you may be best off buying a Carrera Banshee X in the sale and either just using that, or swapping as many parts as you can to the new frame, then sell the leftovers. Otherwise this is going to cost a lot for what is not a very good frame. It wasnt good then, and is simply outclassed today.

im gonna build it up still, but im not useing it as a proper downhill

It may make a passable trail bike, and would be good to look at. Seatpost you need is a 31.6mm. Then I'd just raid Merlin for the rest - Tora fork, Hone groupset (with wheels) then finishing kit of your choice. FSA headset. Oh, does the rear have discs mounts? If it does, probably not standard ones.

it has rear disc mounts but it needs a converter thingy which ive got,
