Just a frame or whole bike? If you dont have a clue, just getting a frame is going to be hardwork (and expensive!) if you plan to build one up.
What sort of riding conditions? XC, general, downhill, etc?0 -
just general and just a frame0

What components do you plan to put on it? Do you have any? This may help narrow down suggestions.
General trail frames: OnOne Inbred or 456, Arrow XC3, GT Zaskar, Merlin MALT20 -
havnt got any components and dont no wot im goin 2 put on it yet coz i am a complete beginner0

In that case I recommend you buy a completely built off the peg bike, then alter to your requirements. As an experienced mechanic and salesman, building one yourself with no knowledge is a bad idea. Sure you can gain the knowledge, but riding a fully built one will give you a feel for what you need. Plus the shop will set it up and help you out. This is the best way for a starter.0

well in that case then wot bike do u recomend0

Is your budget increased for a total bike? Many bikes listed in the What Bike thread in the buying section to give you a feel for what is available.0

4 a complete i can increase it 2 about 6000

£600 buys some very good machinery. I'd take a look at the Specialized Rockhopper Disc, Trek 6500, GT Avalanche 1.0 and Expert, and the Boardman Comp. Size will depend on testing it out - they vary, no standard. Plus you'll get a feel for the riding position.0

what yr for the Specialized Rockhopper Disc 07 or 080

Either really - almost identical bikes, the newer one 50 quid cheaper, but the older one may have more off in the sale.0

well cheers for your help0

I dunno, depends on the condition. Keep it well serviced.0
