anyone have any advice on how to set these up for xc riding?
im 5 foot 2ish and weigh 8 stone

As any other fork really! Set your sag, experiment with the rebound and away you go!

You are very light,so might need to consider a lighter spring if you are not getting,the correct sag.

Depends which slate you have?
On my trek 6500 its the comp which doesn't have rebound adjustment. You just need to set the sag and away you go.
