I decided on khamsin gold wheelset and tried to order some with Shimano compatable hubs but there are none in the UK that I can find. Anyone any suggestions where I can get some? I tried to find axle part number but no luck . Both my bikes have full Shimano ultergra 10 spd groupset so I'm not about to change to Campy

    I wouldn't bother.

Though I am a Campag man in your position I would look at Shimano R550s, Ribble are selling them for £65 and they are lighter than the Khamsins which are only a budget wheel after all.

I wanted Campy Zondas for my Tiagra setup.

I was informed I'd need a freehub body in order to make it compatible.

Only place I could find that had them was Italian Cycle Products (.co.uk).
They were very helpful but the part itself was £55 and the end I got myself another set of wheels without the faff.

I thought it might need the axle as well. I particularly wanted the khamsins because or the gold coloured rims and the lace up pattern . Might still buy them and try a campy cassette with Shimano STI I believe the Vento has the same type cartidge hub I might be able to swop the axle out of a broke vento if one turns up

The Shimano 550 in silver are not bad looking. Price is £75 delivered which is about the same as Khamsins . It would be less hassle I guess
    thanks for your help

On second thoughts have a search for Miche cassettes, I am sure they do a Shimano compatable one to fit a Campag hub.

You could try Ambrosio cassettes too. Surosa has them.

Aren't these Campag spacing to fit a Shimano freehub - not the other way round.

There's a good reason you can't find Shimano compatible Khamsins - Campag don't make them. Don't do Shimano compatible Ventos or Scirroccos either, so I reckon your chances of getting a Shimano cassette body are about zero.
