Wifey is after a set of full length gloves for the winter...
Dry hands seems to be the key issue here.

Any recommendations?

I've a pair of the Seal Skinz gloves and they are very warm and fairly water resistant when it's chucking it down.

    Cheers AndyP -
I popped in to Condor, and they'd run out of Seal Skinz in the necessary sizes.
(Wifey is XS in womens size!).
I picked up a pair of super cool Campagnolo Textran gloves with white backs and 3M reflectives on them, plus small gel. buttons - Sold as being waterproof.

why didn';t you just go home and order the gloves over the internet or go to another store?
the campag gloves are different proposition to sealskinz

It's good to have several sets of gloves

When I first saw the thread, I was going to suggest the Gore Supertechno-a great roadies glove, with Windstopper, it's sort of waterproof and a good spring and autumn dry weather glove. The same can be said of the Spesh Ridge gloves

Both readily available in small sizes and both look as cool as the Campag ones

For a winter glove-the sealskinz are good

You will of course have to buy some summer mitts too.........

Ah, that's because with clothing I like to ensure I get the right size, so when I went down to support my favourite LBS, I took her old gloves to use as a template - plus if I'd got it wrong, it would be a quick nip round the corner from the office to rectify the problem!

I also bumped in to a guy in store, who'd found Seal Skinz o.o.stock in the shop round the corner too. They're obviously a popular choice.

I'm led to believe the breathable/waterproof/gel insert/3M reflective Campags. are the better option for warm dry winter hands. In fact, I might go back to get a pair for myself!

Cheers Ken - will commit the Gore ones to memory.
