well what did we all think?! i went along this morning and although it was ok, i found it more of a trade atmosphere than a go and see what bikeing is all about type show that they seem to market it as, got a few freebies etc (the oat bars in the box by the door are ace, if you're going this weekend keep a look out for them!!! and also dont do what i did, i went to olympia...its a spanish property expo and a graduate recruitment expo, the cycle one is earls court...hmmmm you can tell im not from the smoke, i thought they were the same place or something!

  • Just got back.It was bigger and better than I was expecting, having read some ess than enthusiastic revies abot last years event at Excel.

It was quite nice to actually e able to have a go on a few bikes.Had a go on a carbon framed Pearson s/s road bike,a Look carbon road bike, and went round the mtb course on a Trek Fuel EX8.

Chris from Cycle active was on hand to give coaching/tips as you rode roud.

My mate and I spent quite a bit of time speaking to guys on the Hope and USE stand talking about their new lights.

The Cube bikes looked very nice, too and look very good value for money.

Also had the pleasure,of having my details being taken, for the Saracen prize draw by the lovely Emma Cox....

Only dissapointment was that apart for the Condor clothing store, nothing was for sale.

Probably good for my bank balance though....

I thought it was a good show, certainly much better than I had beenled to believe. :D
