I would like a 100mm fork with a 20mm bolt-through axel. No budget.

The lighter the better.

So far i have looked at the rockshox argyle, marzocchi 4x world cup and 'zocchi dirt jumper.

Any opinions on these/any other reccomendations?

would go with the marzocchi dirt jumper myself, because of sheer reputation

hardcore xc to freeride. bit of everything! needs to be light enough for the day rides, but strong enough for the big drops. i can only afford the one bike to do it though!

What's the reason for only wanting 100mm travel ?

With that sort of spec the forks you are going to be looking at are going to be dirt jump forks, and will not be as good for XC.

How about a travel adjust fork wound down ? Pike 454 air U-turn springs " no pun intended" to mind, and if your frame can take it you could wind out to full travel for knarly stuff.

I did similar with my old bike.
