I have a Kona Kula Supreme 2007. At the minute it has a boltthrough seatpost clamp. I am looking to buy a QR one.

I measured my seatube and it seemed to be about 30mm.

Tried to fit a 31.8mm one but that was too big. Should I try a 28.6mm? Just seen on the internet that there are also 29.8mm ones (which seem rarer).

do you have a front mech fitted?

if yes then it will be one of the 3 mech band sizes.

Yes I have a XT front mech which fits around the seattube.

So it will be either -
    28.6
    31.8
    34.9

(Options on Hope Seatpost clamps on chainreactioncycles.)

Also can anyone recommend a good QR Seatpost clamp?

My LBS said it was 30mm dead.

    I have tried a 31.8mm (too big) and a 30.0mm (too small).

Now I am pulling my hair out.

Just measured the seat-tube myself and it looks like it is 30.5mm. Does anyone in the word make QR seatpost clamps that size?

I have a 30mm in my hand and it is too small. And a 31.8mm is too big.
