Alright Guys - wondering if anyone can help. When I'm changing between the second and Third Chainrings my chain seems to be slipping and getting stck between the two. I noticed there may be a small buckle in second chainring, My question is: Is it worth trying to straighten it or do I need to go and buy a new one?

Cheers Chaps look forward to the replyies

and the third ring is the big one?

there may be a designed buckel in the middle ring. is the mech correctly adjusted? how old are the parts ? is the chain worn out or damaged?

Hi Nick - you're correct I mean the big ring. The Bike has only just turned 1 but has probably done a couple of thousand miles. The rings don't look worn out though however the have taken a couple of heavy knocks. I've had the bike fully serviced just recently and the front mech appears to be fine It almost as if the chain is falling into a gap when I'm changing up, its getting very frustrating as I'm constantly having to rotate the pedals backward and forwrd to release ti before I can try and change up again. For info it's a Truative chainset Powersplined (If that makes any difference.....)
