this may be a stupid question but could leaving my bike upside down in my stand over night or for a few days cause any damage, i.e to the forks. just wondered about oil etc.
thanks

Its good to leave your bike upside down. Lubes the foam rings in your forks. Does make your hydraulics feel a bit mushy for a while though.

what bike? and what set up? as some forks if left upside down can get a hydraulic lock requiring some sorting.

    READ your manual.

also some hydráulic brakes that do not have shields over the ports in the master cyclinder can get air ito the lines if poorly bled and maintained.

Again manual read. or tell use what you have.

I hear taking the seatube out can be a good idea when having the bike upside down in case any water has snuck in there.

Ive never filled my frame but its always a good precaution i suppose.

yer thats what iv done took the post out as water seems to always get in think it must be when i wash it or something but not sure how. got a good few drops out when first turned it upside down. just cheaked my BB the other day and noticed a little water had got in it. as it had been sitting in water in the frame.

i think it will void the warrenty on my isis crank bros coblat. hope not though
