Celtic Manor trail rides ?

Hi lads,

We are staying at the Celtic Manor at the weekend. Has anyone ridden any rides from the hotel ? Which trails do you recommend ? etc etc.

    Plenty of rides in Wentwood across the way from the Manor.

    Pedal North from the lobby and turn right on the road. About about one mile after the road drops down and crosses the main road (watch out for the dog!) go up the hill and then turn left (2nd). About a mile and you are into the main forest area with a choice of fireroad or singletrack stretching for miles.

    I believe there is a MTB ride centre a few junctions down (West) of M4-J28.

    Ended up biking the Cwmcarn Twyrch trail - absolutely superb !!
