i am thinking of getting centaur ultra-torque compact for my bike, my question is, will the front derailler do, it is a triple i have at the moment. is there anything else i will need? thanks
its all about the bike!!

    the compact mech will be better, but the triple will get the chain from one ring t'other, I'm sure.

    I use standard double front mechs for campag compact chainsets without problems. With a deeper cage, the triple front mech is allegedlysupposed to change better. You won't need to change your front mech for a compact-specific one.
