Kona King 2006 or Kula Deluxe 2007?

So I'm still waiting for work to sort out the cycle 2 work scheme via Evans Cycles... I think the paperwork has been sent off!!! (I've been waiting since May)

Originally I was going to get the 2007 Kona Kula... Prices dropped...
Kula Deluxe is in my price range.. Then I noticed that for an extra £300, I could get the 2006 Kona King..

Most of my riding will be a combination of road, bumpy fields, with the odd weekend at Ashton Court, or the Forest of Dean.

So... Which one....
Kona Kula Deluxe 2007
Kona King 2006

The both weigh pretty much the same, I think there is about 0.5lb's difference..

Ones a full suss, the other a hardtail - you have to test really.

I've ridden the Kula, and loved it.

I haven't ridden the King, but I have ridden Full susser's before. I've always found they have been a lot heavier, but still liked the suspension..

So I'm guessing if I did ride it, I would be in the same position.... Which one? I like them both!!! :shock:

Sussers feel different depending on the design, I really would give this one a try. I couldnt make that decision until I had!

FoD and ashton court don't need muchg more then a hartail, not sure I'd go for a Kona. Kulas a nice frame though and the kings nice also, could do with slightly better spec maybe.

I'd try them if you can..it all depends on your riding really and it its going to be used for cycle2work also I'd be more tempted with the Kula.
