    check the pedals/cranks/bb.

    how old is it?

  • the cranks and pedals are nice and tight, its from 2005, had it since new.
    havent checked the bb yet.
would getting a new bb sort it out?

Go on to Park Tools and check their advice for diagnosing noises and what to listen for to determine if your BB is shot

If your happy that everything else apart from your BB is OK then replace the BB

Process of elimation usually works for me finding any creaks/clicks.

my gt i-drive clicks all the time when really pedalling hard. its always done it for like two years ever since new. the previous frame did it too. it could just be how it is.
I said hit the brakes not the tree!!

Check your rear QR skewer is tight or not worn.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
