hi Guys

I've been tasked with finding a Track Bike for my niece out in South Africa as they can't get any. I'm struggling to find any shops on the net or any decent sources of information.

Does anyone here do any track racing or knows where would be a good place to source a bike.
Cheers

    Depends on your budget.

    http://www.bikes-dolan.uk.com as an example. A decent bike shop will be able to help, Halfords won't. Condor is another place that comes to mind.

    Also try posting in the Special Interests and Know How sections here.

    If you want a second hand one check EBay and classifieds on the British Cycling site.

    Hubjub: http://www.hubjub.co.uk/ may be able to help with parts. They specialise in all things fixed - track or road. Surly are the ones for bikes though - any Surly dealer - The Bicycle Doctor in Manchester is one that will get you a Surly track bike. Actually checking their site, it seems they can also source Trek and Bianchi track bikes: http://www.bicycledoctor.co.uk/cat_track.html

    Are Binachi's distributor in SA, might be worth giving them a bell to see if they can source a Pista. Might well be cheaper than getting one shipped from the UK.

    Akals on ++27.31.313.2000 for Fuji

    I would imagine most other brands would have a distributor in SA, should be on their websites
