xc frame choice

i'm currently loking around for a new hardtail xc frame to move all of my parts onto. I've narrowed it down to a choice between the Kinesis XCPro2 or the Commencal VIP Flame frame.
They are both roughly the same weight and about the same price (although the commencal comes with integrated headset and seat clamp included).
I ride mainly xc, south downs, swinley forest etc and weigh 13 1/2 stone. I prefer a slightly smaller frame than normal as I have 2 artificial hips.
Which of these frames would you go for and why?
(I had also looked at the new zaskar frame)

I too have been looking around for a new hardtail to build up,
i have an on one inbred at the moment which is pretty good just a bit battered now,
anybody used the Scandal or the Cove Handjob??0
