Help please, i've seen a Giant XTC Composite 07 model for sale, RRP is £1999, and it has been reduced to £1299, it is a carbon frame with very good spec, should i but it? I haven't seen what looks like a better hardtail buy for the money.

  • Giant carbon frames are generally regarded to be the best. This is an excellent bike, but is very race orientated.

Think very carefully what type of riding you will be using the bike for.If it suits, then go for it.

I love my Giant XTC1 07, it serves me well, it may be the Aluxx Aluminium Frame but its light enough for me.

If you can get the Composite version for just an extra £300 then why wait.

    A great racing hardtail
