hi, i have managed to strip the extractor threads on my square taper cranks and was wondering if there is any sort of repair so I can still whip them off with a crank extractor? (I can get them off at the moment but the method is far from ideal)

not really. keep on doing what you are doing or replace them.

angle grinder time maybe? and then have some serious fun! I love angle grinders!

try and use your crank extractor again, fire it in as far as it can go and remember to nip it up with a spanner then see how ya get one, people forget to put the extractor all the way into the thread of the crank arm.
