Old Stumpjumper Geometry

Hiya, just a quick query someone might know straight off
I have an old Stumpjumper HT frame which was bought off ebay, originally thought to be '04 but I now think it was an '03 model. I stuck some Suntour X100 100mm forks from an Avalanche 1.0 on the front, the forks are about the same length as my Tora 302 (100mm) forks. The head angle looks a bit too steep though, given the bike is supposed to be used with an 85mm fork anyway I thought it would have been slack if anything.
Have recent forks got shorter in the legs/crown at all or is this old fashioned geometry. Looking at modern XC hardtails they look a bit slacker. Assuming not much has changed I take it a pair of 100mm Reba SLs would be a safe bet?
Ideally a geometry sheet from the old models if anyone happens to have one or possibly the length of the forks on that model. Worth a shot
Cheers.

I think it was 71 degrees with an 80mm Fox fork.
Some forks have got shorter in length over the years, as not to raise the front end so much with our ever increasing travel.
If you like the feel with your 100mm fork, and the Reba is of similar dimensions, go for it.0 -
Cheers, just what I was wondering, looks like it's the same geometry as this years roughly. It's actually got slicks on at the moment as it's been demoted to my roady-trainingy-commutey bike so it's not too much of an issue. I do plan to get it up to date at some point and use it for racing though.
Poor Stumpy
