If not a 2008 5.2 Madone then what else........

Hi All.
Had planned to buy a 2008 5.2 Madone from Evans (Ride to Work Scheme) but have just learned from them that they are not expecting them until Jan / Feb 2008 !!!!!
So, not wanting to wait until then, does anyone have any thoughts on something else.
Budget £2300

Well it were me I would buy anything BUT a Trek Madone, but each to their own.

You have a helluva choice out there at this kind of money, have a damn good look around. For my money i would be looking at Giant, Specialized, Enigma for ti, and depending on what you want, Pinarello (the 4:13 comes to mind) and of course Argon 18. Heck even Focus.

I can't praise my 4:13 highly enough (once I changed the seat that was recommended to one that didn't leave me numb that is)
