My first port of call for anything that is a bit unusual / semi obsolete is the St John Street Cycles Website http://www.sjscycles.co.uk
If they haven't got it it probably no longer exists.

Why do you have to stick with 27" just go with 622mm

    whats 622mm?

switching to 700c is a last resort, the 27 inch tyres have a lot of life in them yet and i'd rather not waste them

622 is the ISO for 700c, so 700cx32 is the same as 32x622. The 27" wheels are ISO 630mm

St John's street cycles has plenty to choose from and Sun and Weinmann also make them so any bike shop should be able to order them for you

Spa cycles (have a good reputation. The rear wheel I bought two years ago has been absolutely reliable and trouble free

May be worth asking if they can source one though.

Spa cycles will ba able to order you a rim, as will any good bike shop. St Jons Street has them on the website as does Harris

    http://sheldonbrown.com/harris/rims/630.html

The Sun CR-18 in 630mm (old 27") starndard would be an inexpensive and solid choice.

Velocity still make 27" rims here in Oz (only one sort though), but you ought to be able to find something else locally.

BUT: the big problem with 27" is the diminishing selection of generally low quality, heavy tyres. I'd either buy used (e.g., very cheap), or bite the bullet and switch to 700C.

FWIW, I gave up on 27" ~15 years ago, and the writing was on the wall from the early/mid 1980s...
