I've just changed my bars to profile bars on my track, on the road, fixie. All I need to finish it is to replace the black BMX lever. Where can I get a small ish silver lever for straight bars? Or does anyone have one I can purchase? I'm also after the rubber tube that works in place of handlebar tape. What is it called? Anyone know who sells them.

The foam handlebar grips are sometimes called 'Grab On' - a touring bike specialist might help. FWIW They're very good at absorbing water. There's plenty of cyclo-cross auxilliary levers e.g. Cane Creek, Tektro which are great for a fixie front. Many MTB/BMX type levers don't have the right-size clamp for road bars - check to make sure they fit. If you buy a pair, you can always sell the spare.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
