Can someone suggest some lights to use for road riding? I mainly stick to country lanes, and would like to reduce the chances of death buy drivers or potholes etc!

I have about £100 to spend.

I don't mind how they are powered, I just want to see and for others to see me.

    If you can stretch to £144 I'd go for an Exposure Joystick Maxx, bright, long burn times, no cables, small size. Mine's on order from shinybikes.com and they had stock left yesterday. The lanyard mount option is only £126 to but not sure how stable/convenient that is.

    For £99 you can get the excellent Dinotte light from On-one.

    I have one and it's superb. There are other comments on these, and other options, on the thread below in the Commuting section;

    I've just ordered myself one of these: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ProductDetail.a ... nt%20Light

    A mate had his out last night and it's a nice package. Quality construction, impressive beam and allegedly decent battery life. Did a bit of research online for reviews and they all came out pretty positive for these.
