I'm in the middle of building my bike i'm on a budget ( so far three months ) i bought a merlin frame (malt1) & the rest of my parts have come of ebay just got a set of onza half fats & some sticky finger tyers will these fit ok with v brakes as the rims are a lot wider or will i have to change somthing else down the line

    i have to ask why Trials wheels?

    you will be better of dumping them back on the bay and get some XC wheels.

    There stronger as i'm a lard ass(18 1/2 st) and they where a good price (£40 with tyers) good xc ones going for silly money :twisted:

    tbh i think you may have problems with the V's but who knows. i think you will be the first person to try this.

    and i dont think they will be much if any stronger than some decent XC width rims.
