fitting spokes

i recently asked about getting my wheel respoked as u may remember. was just wondering how hard is it to fit a new spoke myself (just the 1) untill i can afford upgrade etc.
is it simply put it threw the hub and use a spoe key to tighten the niple to similar tension as the others?

basically yes.

but you will need to makesure you fit it from the correct side. and then make sure it weaves though the other spokes correctly and the tension.
