I currently have Avid Juicy 3 brakes. I'm thinking of getting some hand-built wheels (due to spokes breaking in my factory set) and I like the price of the XT hubs. If I were to change the hubs to centre lock instead of 6 bolt and change the discs respectively will they be a direct fit into the existing juicy calipers?

most seem to work. but you can use your current disc as you can get adaptors that allow 6 bolt discs to be run on splined hubs.

As Nick says, there are adapters available and the Shimano ones look ideal doing away with 6 fiddly bolts in favour of 6 spigots and a lock-ring http://www.justridingalong.co.uk/shop.p ... 453fbdffb4

    Cheers for the info.

I'm set on the XTR hubs now, but should I go for DT Swiss 5.1 or ZTR Arch rims?

I'll be running standard inner tubes so is there a need for notubes ZTR rims? Can you still use inner tubes with them, i.e. do they have a valve hole? How is this plugged to run tubeless?

Yes they still have a valve hole, it's plugged with a valve when you run them tubeless - you still need to get air into a tubeless tyre
