Simple question - with halfords can I use the voucher in their Bike Hut store in Putney?

Not sure yet. I'm thinking single speed/fixed (I know that will make me a fashion victim), I already have a nice road bike and a second hand cross bike.

I will have £600 to go at so should be able to get something nice. I like the Genesis Flyer but I don't think they stock that.

you can get them to get alot of different stuff in. Including planet x and condor. Ive spent ALONG time debating what i want and have decided to get a planet x.

Maybe I should get a genesis flyer and some new bits and pieces for the cross bike with what's left over?

What sort of Planet-X are you getting? I was interested in the Uncle John before I bought the cross bike second hand.

Not sure if this is a positive suggestion or not Pete but you can use your Halfords voucher in Condor too.

I know that Halfords stock Condor bikes, can I just go to Condor with the voucher? I would quite like a Condor Pista but I definitely don't want to come across too much as a fakenger!!

Could I avoid this by getting the one which you can attach mudguards to?

Condor will take your Halfords LoC directly.

That's great news Homer. I have always wanted a bike from their great shop!

I was gutted when my work announced they'd signed up to the Halfords scheme but then the deflation turned around when I read about Condor taking Halfords LoCs. Checked it out with Condor (shop's over the road from work), they confirmed and now I'm just waiting for the scheme to kick in so i can order the voucher for a new Italia.

Condor's 2008 bikes are launched at the Cycleshow in two weeks and the guy in the shop seemed to think the 08 Italia would have a full carbon rear end. Sweet.

Evans isn't such a bad place to get a bike from as at least they have a good range. You don't have to get it serviced there.
