9 speed Dura-Ace/Sach chain with 10 spd Hollowtech Chainset?
Wondering if this combination is possible?
I missed the move to 10 speed/A-head Headsets and Hollowtech BB's.
I'm running a Cannondale CAAD 3 frameset with 9 speed Dur-ace STi groupset (and still going strong)
Is it possible to run a Dura-ace 'Hollowtech' chainset with my older 9 speed Dura-ace/Sach chain. Will I experiance chain problems moving between each chainring?
Reason why I ask, I'd love to have the hassle free, less maintance of the Hollowtech BB against good old cups and bearings but still use my exsisting groupset.
Original 9 speed Dura-ace BB isn't that smooth running!
I believe the 'Hollowtech' cups will fit my standard bottom bracket.
Thanks

I have a 9 speed chain running on a 10 speed hollowtech 2 ultegra chainset, and it works fine for me. So i cannot see any reasons why yours should not work.0
