Just a little sole

After a lot of debating I decided I needed to use a clipin pedal to keep my tin leg in place otherwise every missed gear or rooty section ment me stopping/slowing to re-arrange my foot on the pedal.
A friend lent me some shoes and pedals to try out and I loved it, after a lot of hunting for boots I decided on Specialzed buzzsaws :-

These worked great but after using 5:10 impacts I found my good foot moving around far to much and wasn't feeling confident at all.
I remembered seeing an article in Dirt magazine about a company called feetfirst who could resole MTB/walking boots and more specifically could resole them with the same stealth rubber used in the Impacts.
I sent them off an email and one reply and a telephone call later the boot was on it's way.
I recieved it back today and am well pleased, they did exactly as I asked in flatening out the bottom completly to make it like a sneaker bottom.
So if you have a favorite shoe and want THE best sole you can get pop to http://www.feetfirst.resoles.co.uk
Here's the two together so you can see the amount of work they've done
