Lee Valley Park

Has anyone ever cycled through the Lee Valley Park between Broxbourne and East London?
I was just wondering if you can cycle the whole route, not necessarily just during "park hours".
If so, is the surface suitable for a daily commute on skinny road tyres or is it more suitable for MTB/Hybrid tyres?
Cheers

I cycle the towpath along the Lee from Edmonton to Dalston and sometimes a little further.
You can do it on road tyres, although I would not want to do it on less than 25s. The path does get a bit lumpy in places but if you are confident you will have no problems.0 -
