Posted a little while ago re MTB for £700 (got to be Halfords) through a bike2work scheme.
Went to the store today and finally spoke to someone who seemed to know what they were on about. He put me off the full sus Banshee X and recommended sticking to a better quality hard tail for the same money for the type of riding I will be doing.
The two he recommended were the Voodoo Wanga (£779) Or Boardman Team (£799) for the quality of the components, he said he will do either for me for £699 to fit with my budget. There is also the GT Aggressor XCR at £639.
links to the specs are below, I can't find any decent reviews so opinions please?

Out of those three, just my opinion.
The GT then the Boardman.
You do know Halford's will source bikes through this scheme? It doesn't have to be a make they stock.
