Tow bar bike carriers

Hi,
We're about to buy a bike carrier to fit on our tow bar. Does anyone have any advice on which ones to avoid or which ones to buy??

    how many bikes? lockable?

    i have the thule 903 euro pro?

    as have a few friends and i dont think i will be replacing it. unlike the others that went before.

    I have a pendle 4 bike rack. Fits on the tow bar. I might be interested in selling it.

    I have a Thule and I love it. One thing you should consider is whether you want to be able to use the towbar and the rack at the same time. There are some towbar plate racks which allow this.

    Pendle 4 bike has worked well for us, solid, simple, bit fiddly to get 4 bikes on without turning bars/t´removing peddles but good. Can't comment on anything else.

    Coincidentally i have the Thule 9403 carrier sitting in my garage doing nothing. Might be available.......what part of the UK are you Rob?
