I'm sure you are all aware of the recent stuff in Aldi...

Only gloves left when I went but what I really needed were some overshoes.

I have been trying to find some good quality ones for decent prices and have had no luck. Looking on ebay for some I came across quite a couple the same and brand new.

Searching on Crane under cycling brought back a large number of stuff which has obviously been bought from Aldi and their prices have been grossly inflated.

This is completely wrong and dishonest. For people who actually intend to CYCLE this winter, especially those who may not be able to afford the exhorbitant prices for everything cycle related, it is ever so annoying not to be able to buy some stuff for this winter because people have decided to make a quick buck.

Effectively if there were enough people doing this, and Aldi were aware of it, there may be no more of these great cycling specials.

These people's activities amounts to un-glamarous arbitrage and it is the cyclist who suffers. Express your disapproval by refusing to bid on any such items on ebay.

It's difficult isn't it? Why don't Aldi's limit popular items to say two of each on the first day?

And can't you get a mate/relative to get some for you?

The joys of Ebay, happens with everything, look at the fuss when the Xbox 360 was released, the same when Take That tickets first went on sale ( for my wife ) Ebay was flooded with them, some people will try anything to earn a quick buck, rightly or wrongly...
