In the market for a new commuter bike after beemer-man bent my previous ride last week. I have toyed with the idea of getting a brand new road bike which I would really like to do, but the combination of impending (or already here :? ) bad weather and nothing more than a cover to protect my the ride over the winter has made me put that idea off for a while.
I have browsed ebay and gumtree at length for a suitable fast hybrid, but have found nothing. So - to the crux of the matter - does anyone have experience of Recycling @ Elephant & Castle? What's their stock like - any decent enough kit to see me through the winter? What are their prices like - I'm assuming not charity-shop, but also not expensive?
