Diana inquest jurors to get armed guards... and Harrods workers are banned

The Princess Diana inquest jury will be protected by a police guard in an unprecedented security operation, the coroner announced today.


Jurors were being selected at the High Court for the hearing into the deaths of Diana and her lover Dodi Fayed which starts next week. It is expected to last for six months.


Lord Justice Scott Baker, who will sit as coroner, told them they would be escorted to and from court every day, adding: "I am very anxious that you should not be harassed or hassled in any way during the inquest...........


~Wish they'd choose me. Imagine it- getting an armed police escort everyday for 6 months as I cycle to/from the court.

Be wonderful to have armed police clearing the streets for me to ride.

wonder what I could get my commute time down to in that time?

    This jury will only be comprised of "jobs for the boys" types who will return a verdict the Establishment will require!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :roll: :roll:

    Nah, it was the the photographer, with the camera flash, riding pillion, is wot did it?

    An armed police escort for 6 months - nooo way ! Imagine what it would do to my average speed. Let me follow a taxi at the end of his shift anyday - guaranteed to know ALL the best routes from A to B
