Changing shimano wheels to campag compatable

Can this be done , If a buy some shimano compatable wheels can i buy a block to run with campag ?

    Yes -ish.

    IIRC, "conversion" cassettes can be used to convert the 8/9/10s Shimano freehub to Campag. However the 10s-only (new) Shimano freehub won't convert as it is shorter than the campag 10s - at least thats what it said on the Marchisio website last week.

    I think your options are 1) Marchisio, 2)American Classic, 3)if the wheels are Mavics, Mavic do their own block or 4) there is a conversion cassette mentioned in the current A5-sized RSI catalogue (UK agents for Ambrosio) but no details.

  • Byercycles do 10 speed cassettes that fit shimano hubs but are campag spaced.

  • Just buy the campag version of the same wheel. Most GOOD wheels are suitable for both. Your local specialist retailer should point you in the right direction
