You would need about 80mm of travel. Other points are your headset type (threaded?), steerer diameter, and brake mounts.0

Hiya,
I'm guessing by the steerer its the stem, and the threaded bit means, is the head set smooth or threaded?
Sorry to sound like a right numpty, just never moded a bike before.
Cheers

I was looking at the Marzocchi MX Pro LO Shock, 120mm Travel, i have V-brakes which it will allow, 1-1/8th stem size, If you guys think it will work i'll go for it.
My forks are not threaded, i was just worryed about the angles of it.
Help.
Thanks

That fork will be far too long for your bike, I'd stick to around 80mm of travelm or get a travel adjustable fork like a RS Tora Uturn or Recon.0

Cool thank you, the Rockshox Dart2 has V-brake option and is 80mm so that looks to be ok.
You think so?

Its a better size lol, but a very basic fork and heavy, will add 3lbs to the weight of your bike. What is your budget?0

Marzocchi MX Pro is a good budget fork that comes in 85mm travel variant, should fit ur bike ok without changing the geometry too much.0

I can run a little higher on the cash front, just don't want to go mad or cock my bike up, and it needs to take V-brakes.

what about the Tora 302?0

Good fork too, just make sure it has the V bosses.0

Cool, just my LBS got them for £125, seems good price to me.
