Collision on way home (with a bee)

A bee flew into my mouth on the way home today and stung me on the inside of my lower lip. It hurts a lot, and a pharmacist gave me an antihistamine cream that tastes like ear wax :(

    I was cycling along the path by the Thames in Kingston a while back and flew through the biggest, longest cloud of midges I've ever seen whilst breathing in deeply through my mouth.

    That was two years ago and I swear I'm still coughing them up; it literally felt like somebody was throwing buckets of water on my face.

    I remember going through a swarm of bees in Africa on my motorcycle. Scary!!! I didn't get stung though, thank goodness.

    I took some of my hayfever medication (which is an antihistamine in pill form), and the swelling pretty much disappeared in about an hour.

    Had an incident of a different kind on the way home last night when I ran over a nail which went in through the tread of my tire, deflected off the rim and came out through the sidewall!

    insects hurt when they hit... I got stung a month or so back as something hit me from the side got tangled in my helmet straps and stung me before I started flapping at it like a big girl

    On my motorbike last year,

    Bit warm so jacket zip was a little down.

    Wasp gets inside jacket.....

    Stung 4 times in about 20 seconds.

    All the while waving arms madly about at 70 mph.
