Will BMX freewheels fit old screw on cassette hubs?

My bodged fixie set up died today, so I'm going singlespeed on me roadie. Will a standard 16T BMX freewheel fit the old screw on hubs I have?

    Yup, I think that thread is the same 1.37 X 24tpi?? track /fixed sprocket, single freewheels and old screw on freewheels the same.
