Generally come this time of year the midweek evening rides come to a halt, due to the dark nights.
This year I'm considering getting some decent lights, but not the rechargable type. I'll be sticking to forestry fire roads, and wider tracks, avoiding tricky single track(I'll save that for daylight).
Cats eye EL 530, looks like it would suite my requirements, any comments?
Come back with your bike or upon it.

They won't inspire confidence. You would be better off with spending a bit more money.

  • So whats the difference between that el530 which has such a high candle power and proper mtb lighting that seems to have the same power and lumens and costs 100quid more? Thats what I don't understand.
